LPG Auto
Designed for alternative energy that is LPG, the fuel more economic and ecological, MasterGás early tried to enter the quality factor combined with these changes, because there are many companies that engaged in such services, but not always obeying the high quality standards.
Security - LPG Auto
With increasing popularity, the German company ADAC, expert-in safety features in cars perform crash tests and fire on an Opel Astra 2006 with a conventional LPG system.
Where to get gas? - LPG Auto
There are more than 250 service stations spread across Portugal. Than expected as a fuel economic, ecological and reliable?
If you own a fleet of trucks, ECO-GAS offers you the option to change the diesel or gasoline to LPG, which is cheaper and cleaner.
Switching to a cheaper and clean fuel, may have several benefits for your business and increase the life of its fleet of trucks.
Conventional fuel (gasoline and diesel) are expensive and emit toxic chemicals that pollute the air. LPG is safe and environmentally friendly.
In the wake of environmental awareness and economic downturn, the move to a fuel such as LPG seems to be the step in the right direction.
Change its fleet to LPG, a green fuel, can attract clients by being to ensure the global ecology, reducing emissions of lead, benzene, and emissions of gases that cause greenhouse effect.
The LPG is not corrosive and therefore does not react with the engine parts, thus increasing lifetime. Owners of fleets of trucks are often faced with the challenge of managing fuel costs and maintenance of their vehicles. The use of LPG as fuel will reduce fuel costs by at least 10%.
LPG to diesel engines work on fumigation system, which gives more power to any engine (between 15% and 25% more torque and horsepower), which provides heavy transport efficiency.
With ECO-LPG can help you grow your business by keeping your fleet in good state while reducing costs.
LPG and Diesel Engines Text taken from the Official Newsletter No. 7, of the ANIC-GPL
The exponential increase in diesel powered vehicles within the last two decades especially in Europe, as well as the successive price increases of fuel, has increased the interest in finding alternatives to diesel, as already existed for gasoline engines.
Australia, Canada, USA and England are the countries where it has been trying to develop technology to allow the use of LPG or natural gas as a way to reduce costs and emissions of greenhouse gases.
Many of these projects were abandoned, but the few who have achieved significant positive results and without risk to the engine, already have a considerable number of vehicles operating for some years now (some heavy goods vehicles has amounted to over one million km after the installation of this equipments).
There are two main techniques for diesel engines can use LPG:
Ottorização:
One technique is to modify the diesel engine in Otto cycle engine by modifying the cylinder head to create a combustion chamber (or even replacing them with an already prepared for this purpose) and the cylinder head so that they can be used spark plugs. The mechanics attached to this amendment include a mechanism to control the ignition. This technique has the great advantage of getting the engine to work 100% with LPG or natural gas. The disadvantages are the high cost, risk and loss of conversion efficiency as a diesel engine. Only in some Asian countries are sold complete kits and make a few conversions of this type.
Dual-Fuel:
This is actually a conversion of a diesel vehicle for a vehicle that is consuming both diesel and LPG and Natural Gas. This type of solution is known since the time of the inventor of the diesel engine, Rudolf Diesel, found that adding a certain amount of natural gas to the air intake system (known as fumigation), the engine power and increased greatly diminished drastically smoking. Among these are the direct injection of natural gas that can replacement rates of around 80%, having already managed to reach 95% in very specific conditions of engine operation. For every liter of diesel replaced, it is necessary to about 1.5 liters of natural gas, and the difference in cost between the two fuels the weight factor in economic terms. For emissions of greenhouse gases are notorious advantages. Currently there are equipment that are specific to certain models (heavy vehicles only) and the conversion exceeds € 20,000, a value still high even looking at the total cost of a heavy vehicle and the fuel economy resulting from the transformation. Another technique used in the Dual-Fuel systems is to inject LPG or Natural Gas by admitting mixed with air. Systems are typically "non invasive", ie do not change the original mechanical vehicle or its components. The gas will increase the efficiency of the engine, and can increase power and torque, but should prevent them from exceeding the maximum values given by the manufacturer in order not to affect the longevity of the engine. The percentages of replacement of diesel that accrue depending on the equipment, engine, type of use and use LPG or Natural Gas. More evolved systems can have values of total consumption of LPG + Diesel intakes below just before the conversion of diesel, this is a major leap forward both economically and reducing emissions. In these systems the main function of the GPL is to improve the combustion efficiency of diesel, thus not requiring large amounts of replacement. Generally the reduction of diesel consumption can range from 15% to 45% with addition of 8% to 20% of LPG. Natural Gas Using this percentage may be higher.
